The dance floor was crowded, the desserts were terrific, and the February 13 Valentine Dance provided a wonderful, warm, and fun evening for everyone who came.

Thanks to Stine Moen (red top in photos) and Hooba (black ear plugs) from Rhythm Break Cares (RBC) for their performance and for getting everyone on their feet.

As always, Poet-in-Residence Gary Glazner (green and black shirt) hosted the evening. He created a poem about love with the help of everyone in attendance adding a line — some of which led into the telling of hilarious family stories.

Percussionist-in-Residence David Azarch (seated in hat) kept the beat, and Musician-in-Residence Ismail Butera provided live accompaniment on his accordion to the dancers or along with the recorded numbers.

Staffers Christopher Nadeau and Josephine Brown couldn’t resist a rock-n-roll number.

Our party fell on Ash Wednesday, so some, including Memory Center Board President Allen Karmer II, wore the traditional marking of the day.

We hope that you will join us for a future Café. Each program has been unique, and each program has been fun. As one attendee said, “This is the highlight of the month!”
